Volunteer with Aspen Family Connections to help with food distribution!

- Food Distribution: 10:30AM-2:30PM
The food distribution takes place in the lot closest to Hwy 82 and the Inn at Aspen. This involves set up, packing food bags/boxes, and distributing food to families. Volunteers may want to bring water, sunscreen and a hat. Dress in layers & bring a jacket. Masks are required. Please bring your own. Aspen Family Connections will provide gloves. Please be aware that many of the tasks at the distribution involve heavy lifting. Food Deliveries – 2:30PM Buttermilk Parking Lot. Aspen Family Connections takes food deliveries to families who are unable to attend the distribution in person. These are typically in Aspen and Snowmass Village. This requires a personal vehicle.
Deliver Lunches to Seniors
Pitkin County Senior Services is recruiting volunteers to deliver lunches Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday at noon.
6 delivery routes are run each day, so about 24 volunteers are needed every week. Looking for people who can commit to a weekly route. Takes about 1.5 hours or less. Email pitkinseniors.com to sign up or call (970) 920-5432.
Volunteer for A Little Help
A Little Help, a local nonprofit helping older adults thrive, is part of the community response to COVID-19.
They are mobilizing the community’s healthy neighbors to help serve older adults. Services include:
- Grocery shopping and errands
- Prescription pick-ups
- Yard tasks
- Transportation to health-related appointments
- Care calls to members for social connection
