With the authorization and prevalent distribution of the COVID-19 vaccines, we know many people still have questions about the vaccine, their efficacy and how they are used. As we continue to vaccinate more and more of our community we must address the concerns of vaccines and educate ourselves, our friends and our family on the benefits of the COVID-19 vaccine.
In order for COVID-19 cases to maintain a status of decline, vaccinating our community is a priority. The path out of the pandemic is to minimize the risk of exposure to covid, and reduce the ability for the disease to replicate and mutate. We can stop the spread of COVID-19 through vaccinations.
In order to address many of the concerns around vaccines, local Pitkin County medical experts, Dr. Kimberly Levin and Dr. Natasha Knight take on some of the myths around COVID-19 vaccine. Also check out our myth busting videos in Spanish (Español) compiled by Dr. Gail Mizner, MD, FACP Internal Medicine Consultant, whose efforts are helping our community outreach. Spreading awareness and accurate information will help us move forward, together.
