Vaccines are being distributed and the community is steadily moving forward. While forward movement is something to celebrate, it’s important to note the continuous effort of keeping your masks on and social distancing when necessary. Our society is still in the midst of a pandemic, so to keep making headway, the state has implemented the following guideline changes:
Level Yellow:
- Restaurants must continue to operate at 50% capacity but can expand total capacity to a maximum number of 150 people and extend last call to 1AM
- Indoor events must continue to operate at 50% capacity but can expand total maximum to 150 people for seated events
- Outdoor pools are subject to the same capacity limit as indoor pools (50% capacity or 50 people)
Performers:
- Performers with forced exhalation as a part of their performance, such as singers or trumpet players, may be 12 feet from the nearest spectator only if they are wearing masks. (25 ft if not wearing a mask)
- Performers using no forced exhalation, such as piano or guitar players, may be 6 ft from the nearest spectator provided they are wearing a mask
Face Coverings:
- Can be removed in a school classroom for the purpose of playing a musical instrument that cannot be played while wearing a face covering
Keep in mind not everyone has received a full vaccine dose, whether that be the single- or 2-dose vaccination. If you have been fully vaccinated, the following information is something to keep track of.
Fully vaccinated people may now:
- Visit with other fully vaccinated people indoors without wearing masks or physical distancing in small groups (limited to a 10 people from no more than 2 households)
- Visit with unvaccinated people from a single household who are at low risk for severe COVID-19 disease indoors without wearing masks or physical distancin
