Stay Home if Sick
It is only through reducing the risk of transmission and not exposing others when we feel sick, that we can keep Pitkin County open and our community safe. Do NOT go to work/school if you feel sick or experiencing any of the following: headache, sore throat, fever, cough, recent inability to taste or smell, shortness of breath, body aches, diarrhea, fatigue, chills, vomiting and/or abdominal pain. Sneezing is also now a common symptom among those vaccinated.
Get tested if you are experiencing any of these symptoms.

As COVID-19 cases and exposure increase, there is a need for more testing services. Effective September 8th the testing site at the Airport Cell Phone Lot began operating. Testing is free and available Monday through Saturday 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. (days and times subject to change). The El Jebel Community Center site will also be reopening beginning September 13th.
