(Based on an evaluation of inpatient hospitalizations, transfer capacity, healthcare workers out and average daily visits in ER, respiratory evaluation, and COVID-19 testing)

- 91% of Acute Care Beds in Use
- 85% of ICU Beds in Use
- 67% of Those Hospitalized are Unvaccinated

Updates
Changes to COVID-19 Data Dashboard
As COVID-19 wanes in Pitkin County, the public health team has simplified the data reporting process and associated dashboards. There will now be a single Pitkin County data dashboard, which will include data on COVID-19 case and testing, and COVID-19 hospitalizations, deaths, and vaccinations. Additional data that is provided by the state will also be linked in the new data page. Read our newest blog to learn more.
TSA Extends Mask Mandate
The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) has extended the security directive requiring masks on public transportation and in public transportation hubs through April 18, 2022. Please continue to wear your mask on public transit including RFTA buses, as well as in the Pitkin County Airport.
