COVID-19 Vaccination Dashboard
The purpose of this dashboard is to provide all residents and visitors with equitable access to information about the progress of COVID-19 vaccinations in Pitkin County. The data displayed in this dashboard comes from daily reports provided by the Colorado Department of Public Health and the Environment (CDPHE) and are updated every weekday around 7PM.
The vaccination status metrics for Pitkin County are displayed for the total resident population of Pitkin County. Vaccination rates are based on population by age 2020 projections provided by the Colorado State Demography Office. While these are the best available estimates, they are still limited and vaccination rates may reach 100% coverage.
On 1/19/2022, we are updating our data starting from 1/1/2022 with the most recent Colorado State Demography Office census estimates for Pitkin County. The State Demography Office bases its estimates for counties across Colorado on 2020 U.S. Census estimates. Overall our incidence rates/vaccination rates are going to increase slightly due to population estimates falling from 17,756 to 17,363.
