COVID-19 Testing & Hospital Dashboard
Welcome to the COVID-19 Testing and Hospital Dashboard, the central location for COVID-19 data related to testing results and Aspen Valley Hospital (AVH) status. The purpose of this dashboard is to provide all residents and visitors with equitable access to information about COVID-19 testing and hospital status in Pitkin County.
Testing results are displayed from Colorado Department of Public Health and the Environment (CDPHE) reports of all COVID-19 tests conducted at Pitkin County locations. There may be differences between the State Dial’s positivity estimates for Pitkin County and those displayed in this dashboard since the positivity estimates on this dashboard include both PCR and Antigen (rapid) test results while state dial estimates only include PCR results. To understand dial movement, please visit our Pitkin COVID-19 Dial webpage. Antibody test results are not included in this dashboard.
With recent increases in availability of free community-wide testing, especially without a physician’s order, demand for testing is now better aligned with testing capacity throughout Pitkin County. Please visit our Get Tested webpage and COVID-19 Testing Site Finder for more information on how and where testing is available in Pitkin County.
Total hospitalizations are displayed for Pitkin County residents that have been hospitalized anywhere in Colorado since March 1, 2020. AVH status is displayed based on daily updates provided Monday through Friday to Pitkin County Public Health from AVH. Updates on the total number of beds available are provided for the following: Patient Care Unit (PCU), Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Emergency Department, and Respiratory Evaluation Center. Visit the AVH website For more information on these units and departments.
